JOHANNESBURG - Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says the manifesto of the EFF demands they fight corruption.
This as the party is challenging Parliament’s handling of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala scandal.
Malema led thousands of party supporters marching through Joburg’s bustling streets on Tuesday to the Constitutional Court, calling for Ramaphosa to be held accountable.
The EFF wants the court to rule that the National Assembly failed to hold Ramaphosa accountable by dismissing an independent panel's report that suggested he may have violated his oath of office.

Malema told the party’s supporters that it was time they voice their frustrations over Parliament’s handling of the matter.
“So, fighters, when we are here today. We are fighting ANC [African National Congress] corruption, we are fighting Ramaphosa corruption. That is what the founding manifesto of the EFF demands of us.”
Malema is expected to address his supporters again later on Tuesday at the doorstep of the apex court.
The party is now passing the Nelson Mandela Bridge making their way to constitutional court.
