Malema accuses the media of favouring Ramaphosa in Phala Phala matter
EFF leader Julius Malema assured the red berets that he’d ensure the Phala Phala matter receives the attention it deserves.
Phala Phala.
JOHANNESBURG - Thousands of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) supporters watched proceedings on large screens outside the Constitutional Court on Tuesday, where the party's legal team was presenting arguments.
The EFF wants the apex court to rule that Parliament failed to hold President Cyril Ramaphosa accountable by dismissing a report, which suggested he may have breached his oath of office over the Phala Phala scandal.
The party’s supporters marched from the Constitutional Court in Braamfontein, demanding that the president face accountability.

EFF leader Julius Malema assured the red berets that he’d ensure the Phala Phala matter receives the attention it deserves.
"Everywhere where corruption shows its ugly head, we must confront it. We must nip it in the bud. White people today don’t speak about Phala Phala. This media did not make Phala Phala case a headline on Sunday papers, because corruption that is done by their favourite is not corruption."
The demonstration has reached its destination at the constitutional court.
