Chicco Twala's son, Longwe, rearrested for contempt of court
Longwe was arrested for contempt of court, after failing to appear for a theft matter in October.

JOHANNESBURG - Longwe Twala, renowned music producer Chicco Twala's son, will appear in Randburg’s Magistrates Court on Wednesday following his rearrest on Tuesday morning.
Longwe was arrested for contempt of court, after failing to appear for a theft matter in October.

In September his father accused him of stealing items worth R200,000 from his house.
Longwe was then released on bail.
"Longwe Thwala was arrested this morning at Diepkloof after a warrant of arrest was issued for him when he failed to appear at court on 25 October 2024. He is expected to appear tomorrow, 27 November 2024 at Randburg Magistrates Court for contempt of court," said police spokesperson, Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi.
