CAPE TOWN - The case against three Burundi nationals charged with the rape and kidnapping of a Cape Town teen has been postponed for a bail hearing in December.
The trio appeared briefly at the Wynberg Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The group is also charged with robbery with aggravating circumstances and extortion.
The suspects are represented by a new lawyer, Livhuwani Nemugumoni, after their previous legal representative withdrew from the case.
The trio is accused of forcing a 14-year-old girl into their car in Samora Machel on 13 November.
Four days later, police traced the suspects to a house in Parow and rescued the teenager.
She has been reunited with her family.
Her alleged attackers are expected to apply for bail on 11 December.
