JOHANNESBURG - Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has rejected claims of a mass exodus of members from his party.
In recent months, several senior party leaders have resigned from the EFF, with some joining the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party and others moving to the Patriotic Alliance (PA).
Malema addressed the departure of EFF members at a media briefing on Monday afternoon.

After former EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu left his own political party, he was joined by several others, including Dali Mpofu, Busisiwe Mkhwebane and Mzwanele Manyi.
However, Malema insisted that despite the departure of some high-profile figures, the situation was not as dire as it was being portrayed.
"If we can say to you, give us a list of 15 members who left the EFF, you can’t give us that. Tell us which councillors of the EFF in the most rural municipalities have resigned from the EFF to join MK? None."
Malema said everyone he expected to leave the EFF had already departed, further suggesting that the party was now united.
