WC police nab suspect in possession of over R4m worth of drugs
Upon searching the vehicle, the South African Police Service (SAPS) discovered over 1,000 bags of mandrax tablets and 30 plastic bags of uncut cocaine.

CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape Police have arrested a 44-year-old suspect found in possession of drugs to the value of over R4 million.
Police said the Flying Squad unit was conducting patrols in Belhar and Ravensmead areas on Saturday when they spotted and stopped a suspicious vehicle on Sobukwe Road.
Upon searching the vehicle, the South African Police Service (SAPS) discovered over 1,000 bags of mandrax tablets and 30 plastic bags of uncut cocaine.
SAPS provincial spokesperson, Malcolm Pojie.
"The members discovered two bags wrapped in bubble wrap and a sealed box for which the driver could not give account for. As a result, the driver and vehicle was escorted to Ravensmead SAPS. The suspect, 44 years old was arrested for dealing in drugs and detained pending further investigation."
