DURBAN - The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party Women’s League in eThekwini is demanding a mass deportation of undocumented foreign nationals.
The party is blaming the food contamination incidents that have killed a number of children in the country on stores owned by undocumented foreign nationals.
Hundreds of party supporters marched in Durban on Friday to hand over a petition with a list of demands to KZN police leadership.
The league's Snenhlanhla Ndlovu said they were concerned about the number of children killed by foodborne illnesses thus far.
"We are tired, enough is enough. We are seeing our kids dying like rats and mouses. We are being served by foreign traders who are serving us poisonous food, our children are dying."
