The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif.

In a statement, the ICC explained that the warrants are related to crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from at least 8 October 2023 to at least 20 May of this year.

Despite the ICC's call for a ceasefire, Israel has continued its military operations in Gaza since Hamas' 7 October attack.
