Speaking at a media briefing on Wednesday following his executive's final meeting of the year, Lesufi said that the water issue in Gauteng had been escalated to national officials.
"We are quite aware there are certain arrears that are still without water as we speak and there is an erratic flow of water as we speak but we want to allow the national minister to lead us on this matter. The situation has not regressed badly."
