EC police seek public's help to find suspect linked to Lusikisiki mass murder

CAPE TOWN - Eastern Cape police are seeking the public's help in tracing a man linked to the Lusikisiki mass murders.
The suspect, Songezo Vuma, is also known as Mashiya.
Seven suspects including the alleged mastermind linked to the shooting that left 18 family members dead were arrested last month.
They are expected back in court next week Tuesday.
The Eastern Cape police spokesperson Siphokazi Mawisa said: "A thorough preliminary investigation by the SAPS [South African Police Service] provincial serious violent crimes investigation teams have reasons to believe that Songezo (Mashiya) Vuma would be able to assist the police in solving the Lusikisiki mass murders."
Mawisa pleaded with anybody with information of the suspect's whereabouts to contact the team leader on 082 301 7662 or SAPS crime stop 08600 10111."
