CAPE TOWN - Bafana Bafana makes its return to the Mother City.
The South African national soccer team is finally making its return to Cape Town after ten years.
On Tuesday, night Bafana Bafana will go up against South Sudan in an AFCON qualifier.
Bafana Bafana's return is filled with many wins as the team has already secured its spot in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON ).
Bafana Bafana currently tops group K with 11 points in their AFCON qualifying campaign.
Speaking to CapeTalk's Lester Kiewet, former SA goalkeeper coach, Farouk Abrahams, shared his expectations for Tuesday night's match.
"Thrill the crowd a bit because entertainment is what it's all going to be about. I think the fact that there's no pressure on the players or the coach should actually count for a lot tonight."
Giving insight on Bafana Bafana's improved performance, Abrahams said: "We have all been fairly critical in the past about the way they play and the fact that they struggled to qualify. Suddenly, their qualifications for AFCON are back-to-back, the football is eye-pleasing, I think there's a nice structure to the way Bafana plays, you actually feel that they can win every game that they take part in."
