Bafana cruise to victory over South Sudan in Cape Town

JOHANNESBURG - Bafana Bafana beat South Sudan 3-0 in their final Africa Cup of Nations Group K qualifying match at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town on Tuesday.
The result means that Bafana Bafana wrap up qualification for the continental showpiece at the top of the group's standings.
Bafana Bafana went into the match having already sealed qualification for the tournament and with the stated desire of securing the top spot in the group.
The home side took a big step in delivering on that desire when they opened the scoring in the seventh minute when an unmarked Iqraam Rayners netted after Oswin Appollis drew in a number of defenders on the left side of the penalty area and then cut the ball back for Rayners to score.

Patrick Maswanganyi scored the second goal for the hosts after the South Sudan goalkeeper spilled a speculative long-range shot from Teboho Mokoena in the 22nd minute.

Bafana Bafana went into the break 2-0 ahead.
The hosts added a third goal when Mokoena tucked away a penalty in the 50th minute.
