When enjoying music on a classic vinyl record, you may not have really thought about how it was made.

A viral video shows how a blob of plastic residue turns into the records we all know and love.

The record makers use a heavy press, a ‘stamp’ of the original record shape, and some trimming to put our favourite albums on vinyl.
