Tshwane urges residents in some areas to store water ahead of interruption

JOHANNESBURG - The City of Tshwane is urging residents in Cornwall Hill and Doornkloof to store enough water for household needs ahead of Tuesday's planned water supply interruption.
The interruption will result from maintenance work on control valves around the Cornwall Hill reservoir zone and will last eight hours, from 8am to 4pm.

City of Tshwane spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
"The said work which is scheduled for eight hours from 08h00 until 16h00 will result in a water supply interruption. The City of Tshwane sincerely apologises for the inconvenience that may arise due to this planned water supply interruption," Mashigo added.
