Man accused of killing KwaDukuza traffic cop abandons bail application
The man is charged with the murder of traffic officer, Desmond Arumugam who was shot and killed in the line of duty last week Monday.

DURBAN - The man accused of killing a KwaDukuza traffic officer in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) last week has abandoned his bail.
The accused murderer, who cannot be named as police still need to conduct an identity parade, appeared in the KwaDukuza Magistrates Court, in northern KZN earlier on Wednesday.
He is charged with the murder of traffic officer, Desmond Arumugam, who was shot and killed in the line of duty last week Monday.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Natasha Ramkisson-Kara: "The accused appeared today at the KwaDukuza Magistrates Court on charges of robbery with aggravating circumstances, murder, possession of a prohibited firearm and unlawful possession. The case was postponed to the 26th of November for further investigation as well as purposes of an ID parade."
