SA shuts Lebombo border post again as situation in Mozambique remains volatile
The port of entry was opened on Thursday morning but following information that protesters were edging closer towards the national key point, a decision was made to close the border by both countries.

KOMATIPOORT - The situation in Mozambique remains extremely volatile, prompting South African authorities to again close the Lebombo border post.
The port of entry was opened on Thursday morning but following information that protesters were edging closer towards the national key point, a decision was made to close the border by both countries.
Earlier on Thursday, the port in Maputo halted operations of accepting cargo due to the unrest - it is a key trade route for both countries.
