George building collapse: Some victims' families say they haven't received any support

CAPE TOWN - Some family members of victims of the May George collapse building say they haven't received any support from the government or the company responsible.
Wednesday marked exactly six months since 34 construction workers were killed when an unfinished apartment building caved in.
Sixty-two workers were on site when the incident happened. The incident led to a rescue and recovery operation which lasted 11 days.

The cause of the building collapse is still being investigated.
Eyewitness News spoke to Alex Muchanga from Mozambique who lost his brother in the tragedy.
He said life has been tough since his brother's passing.
"The government has not said anything about that accident and I lost my brother there during that accident. I don't have support and I haven't heard anything about that accident, so I need help now because I don't know what's going on about that accident," Muchanga said.
