JOHANNESBURG - Dozens of people came out in support of The "Connect the Dots" initiative, in partnership with the Defend Our Democracy movement, at the Tembisa Hospital on Thursday.

The groups launched Anti-Corruption Week.

This is where former Acting CFO of the Gauteng Department of Health, Babita Deokaran exposed extensive corruption before her assassination.

Outside the hospital’s main entrance, people held signs bearing her image.

They demanded immediate arrests of those implicated in the Zondo Commission, the VBS bank scandal, and the so-called construction mafia, among others.

"Two years after the Zondo Commission report, South Africans are still waiting for justice. Many implicated individuals not only walk free but also hold seats in Parliament," said Defend Our Democracy spokesperson, Andries Sibanyoni.

Sibanyoni said they want South Africans must unite against corruption.
