JOHANNESBURG - South Africa's youngest-ever member of Parliament has resigned.
Twenty-year-old Cleo Wilskut has resigned from the National Assembly three months after being sworn in.
Wilskut made history as the youngest-ever MP when she was sworn in as a representative for the Patriotic Alliance (PA).
In a video posted on social media, Wilskut said she was looking forward to working towards growing the party.
"I have officially resigned from Parliament and I would like to thank the leadership of the PA and I look forward to growing the PA forever."
