Massmart, the South African retailer behind well-known brands like Game and Makro, has announced the return of its month-long Black Friday promotions this year, following overwhelmingly positive feedback from consumers in 2023.
According to the company's research, 75% of Game customers intend to spend more during this year’s Black Friday event compared to last year.
"This is an evolution of the concept that started years ago with different shops trying to stand out from the rest of the pack – they don't just want to offer specials on the day."
