The South African Weather Service said that widespread thundershowers and cold conditions would continue into Tuesday evening, with isolated showers forecast into the weekend.

JOHANNESBURG - Cold, wet, and icy conditions will persist in the Eastern Cape following heavy snowfall in the province.
The South African Weather Service said that widespread thundershowers and cold conditions would continue into Tuesday evening, with isolated showers forecast into the weekend.
South African Weather Service forecaster, Lehlohonolo Thobela: "Still expecting some disruptive snow over the mountain passes, especially around Graaf-Reinet, all the way to Cradock and parts of the eastern half of the province by tonight. Disruptive rains still expected along the east coast of the province, especially over the south-east coast of the Eastern Cape province."
