Mark Lifman murdered: ‘This will shake up organised crime circles’

Mark Lifman, a notorious underworld figure, was shot and killed outside a mall in George over the weekend.

Lifman was facing murder charges relating to the August 2017 shooting of ‘Steroid King’ Brian Wainstein.

Prosecutors claim Lifman paid to have Wainstein killed and took over his steroid business after the murder.

Dolley wrote a book on underworld figures in our country and says Lifman’s murder was inevitable.

She adds that there is often a ‘lull’ in organised crime spaces after a high-profile murder as they wait to see if any arrests are made.
