DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal police have arrested two suspects linked to the murder of a teacher in Ntuzuma.
The 46-year-old educator was shot in full view of her primary school learners three months ago.
Police from the provincial serious crimes and violent crimes unit have arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of the teacher in July.
The two suspects allegedly entered Phikiswayo Primary School’s premises and requested to see the teacher.
One of them then shot her multiple times.
Police Spokesperson Robert Netshiunda said, "She was declared dead at the scene, and after police established that she could have been assassinated because she was a witness on a matter concerning an inmate at the Westville prison.”

The suspects will appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrates Court on Monday.
