Cape Town was announced as Africa’s leading city destination for the fourth consecutive year.

CAPE TOWN - Despite being ranked as the worst port in the world by the World Bank, the World Travel Awards has named Cape Town the best place to dock in Africa.

This accolade has been followed by another recognition. Cape Town was announced as Africa’s leading city destination for the fourth consecutive year.

The Mother City is also home to the Cape Grace, which received the award for Africa’s leading luxury hotel 

The One&Only was recognised as Africa's leading luxury resort.

"It really speaks of the hard work and passion we all put in making this city a top destination," said Enver Duminy, Cape Town Tourism CEO. 

"I want to give a big shoutout and congrats to all our partners and winners. You guys keep pushing the boundaries and setting new standards. Your success really highlights the innovation and excellence that is driving our tourism industry forward."
