Anti-gang unit helping with Bishop Lavis mass shooting

CAPE TOWN - The police’s anti-gang unit is assisting with the investigation into the Bishop Lavis mass shooting.
Six people were shot and killed after armed suspects entered the backyard of a property in Kogelberg road on Thursday night.
Two others were wounded and hospitalised. One has since died.

So far, three suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The shooting came just a day after five other people were shot and killed at Atlantis on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, a woman who found the Bishop Lavis victims says they were innocent people…
"I don't know who they are really. I only knew one girl, she didn't [do] drugs. But the others did drugs. But they were innocent people, they are not gangsters also. They drug on their own, play cards. They have nice time like that but not fighting."
