Rwandan genocide suspect Fulgence Kayishema back in court
Kayishema is facing 56 charges all linked to immigration-related offences.

CAPE TOWN - Rwandan genocide suspect Fulgence Kayishema is expected back at the Cape Town Regional Court on Thursday.
Kayishema is facing 56 charges, all linked to immigration-related offences.
The Rwandan national has been living in South Africa, allegedly under a false name for years
He was tracked down and arrested in Paarl in May 2023.
Kayishema is believed to be the most wanted remaining fugitives of the Rwandan genocide in 1994.
The 63-year-old former police officer is also facing an extradition case in the Western Cape High Court.
Rwandan authorities are seeking to transfer him to a United Nations (UN) court in Arusha, Tanzania, to answer for his alleged involvement in the genocide.
Kayishema is accused of ordering the killing of 2,000 Tutsi people hiding inside a church and has been on the run for more than two decades.
