CAPE TOWN - As day two of the Africa Health Exhibition and Congress gets underway in Cape Town on Wednesday, organisers have expressed their happiness with the turnout at 2024’s event.

The annual event for healthcare professionals and medical experts is being held for the first time in Cape Town at the International Convention Centre.

On Tuesday, around 10,000 delegates registered to attend the three-day event.

Exhibition manager, Daniel Green, said they're excited to see so many people come to Cape Town for Africa Health.

"As a show, we need to grow. When we were in Johannesburg, we had sort of maximised the capacity there. Now we wanted to come to a venue where we could expand further, and this is what Cape Town offers us."
