8 suspects linked to R4 billion diamond investment scam arrested

CAPE TOWN - Eight suspects linked to an alleged diamond investment scam worth more than R4 billion have been arrested.
The group consists of a couple believed to be the masterminds of the operation since 2019.
They were arrested by the Hawks in Gauteng and the North West on Tuesday night.
The group is expected to appear in court on Thursday in Bronkhospruit and more arrests are imminent.
