3 suspects linked to murder of Stellenbosch University student released from police custody

CAPE TOWN - Three suspects arrested in connection with the murder of a Stellenbosch University student have been released from police custody.
They were arrested last week Thursday following Jesse Mitchell's murder last Wednesday.
However, it's unclear why they were set free.

The 19-year-old first-year student was allegedly killed on his birthday while riding his bicycle to his student residence.
Rudolf Hufcke (19) the only suspect behind bars for Mitchell's murder - appeared in the Stellenbosch Magistrates Court on Monday.
His case has been postponed to November 27 for further investigation.
Hufcke is accused of robbing and stabbing Mitchell to death.
He's facing a charge of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
