Weather service issues severe thunderstorm warning for parts of SA
A warning for severe thunderstorms has been issued for central parts of KwaZulu-Natal, parts of the Free State and Mpumalanga, with possibilities of heavy downpours which may lead to localised flooding.

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for thundershowers across parts of the country over the next few days.
An orange Level 5 warning for disruptive rains localised flooding has been issued on the east coast of the Eastern Cape at the weekend.
A warning for severe thunderstorms has also been issued for central parts of KwaZulu-Natal, parts of the Free State and Mpumalanga, with possibilities of heavy downpours which may lead to localised flooding.
Damaging winds over these areas, and a possibility of hail have also been forecast.
"We are expecting isolated to scattered showers and rain to still persist into Monday," said forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela.
