Lusikisiki massacre: Four suspects set to make first court appearance

LUSIKISIKI - Four more suspects arrested in connection to the Lusikisiki massacre are expected to make their first court appearance on Friday.
The group is believed to have carried out the hit on 18 people in Ngobazana village in the Eastern Cape in late September.
Three of the suspects were nabbed in Port Shepstone in KwaZulu-Natal, just hours after police published their images.

The fourth alleged attacker was arrested in East London.
For the families of the Lusikisiki massacre victims, an emotional week of funerals concludes with a court appearance.
Police believe they've caught the gunmen who carried out the village attack.
The breakthrough in the case comes days after the first accused, Siphosoxolo Mayekethe, ditched his bail bid on Tuesday.
National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola hopes the motive for the mass shooting will be revealed in court soon.
"The motive is not known at this stage. We don't want to speculate but we just have to wait for the process to get to court."
Investigators said that more arrests could be expected.
The search for another suspect who is still at large is underway.
