GP Education MEC Chiloane urges matrics to focus during exam season

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane has urged the matric class of 2024 to maintain their focus during this exam period.
The department is leading a pledge signing ceremony at Ahmed Timol Secondary School in Krugersdorp.
The ceremony is about cementing each learner's integrity and dedication before the exams.
The Gauteng Education Department says it's all systems go for Monday, as matrics across the country will sit for their final year exams.

Several teachers have taken to the podium, including Chiloane, who has encouraged the learners to dream big.
He's lauded management at Ahmed Timol Secondary School for its diversity as the school has Christian and Muslim learners enrolled.
The school achieved a 100% pass rate last year and hopes to do the same this year.
Ahmed Timol is the top-performing school in its district and one of the most improved in Gauteng.
