JOHANNESBURG - Former Minister of Social Development Lindiwe Zulu said that Tito Mboweni’s leadership style should serve as a blueprint for government officials.
Mboweni, the former finance minister and South African Reserve Bank (SARB) governor, died on Saturday following a short illness.
Family and friends gathered at his Killarney home in Johannesburg on Monday night to pay their tributes. Zulu was also there.
"We fought many times, arguing about macroeconomic policies, and how to make sure that the public purse is protected. He was one of those who, when we talked about finances, we needed to know our story."
