Speaking during a media briefing in Free State on Monday, Ramokgopa said that Eskom was assisting municipalities to end load reduction.
"There is a new phenomenon that we are dealing with, of load reduction. This has little to do with the challenges of generation capacity. So, we are generating more than enough to meet the demand. These are downstream challenges that we are faced with both on the Eskom side and on the municipal side."
