JOHANNESBURG - The case against a driver involved in an accident that killed 11 learners in Carletonville in July has been postponed to 2025.
 
Gert van Emmenis will return to the Fochville Magistrates Court on 20 January after further investigations. 
 
He appeared in court briefly on Tuesday morning facing charges of culpable homicide.
 
Van Emmenis was driving his bakkie on the morning of the accident, when it rammed into a taxi transporting the children, killing the 11 learners and their driver.
