KZN Transport MEC to visit families of victims who died in N2 crash

DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal Transport MEC Siboniso Duma will on Sunday visit the families of the Friday accident which claimed the lives of seven people, including school pupils.
The deadly crash occurred when a light vehicle crashed with a truck on the N2 highway near Mandeni, in KZN's north coast.

Department spokesperson, Ndabezinhle Sibiya said Duma will start his visit at the Ncwane family, which lost three children in the crash.
"The MEC will personally convey his deepest condolences to the families in particular the Ncwane family, the mother lost her husband in December. She lost her sister and was buried on Saturday and has just lost her three children, it is very tragic," said Sibiya.
