JOHANNESBURG - Thousands of African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) supporters are expected to participate in the organisation’s march against unemployment in Johannesburg on Friday.
The league is marching to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE)’s headquarters in Sandton in the morning.
Among the structure’s demands are an inclusive economy, addressing poverty, inequality, and youth unemployment.
ANCYL president Mntu Woxolo Ngudle said: "We are calling for all South Africans that we want a South Africa that works for the people, a South Africa where economic freedom, safety, and empowerment are not privileges for the few but rights for all."
