PSL confirm Carling Knockout round of 16 dates and venues

JOHANNESBURG The PSL has confirmed the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the Carling Knockout round of 16 fixtures.

The matches are set to take place over the weekend of 18–20 October. The first clash will see reigning champions Stellenbosch FC begin their title defence with a trip to Umlazi to face AmaZulu FC at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Friday at 19:00.
 
There are four games scheduled for Saturday where Orlando Pirates will host newly promoted Magesi FC and Cape Town City face Royal AM in the afternoon matches, while the evening encounters will see Mameldoi Sundowns at home against Golden Arrows and Polokwane City versus Marumo Gallants.
 
On Sunday, the blockbuster game of the round between Supersport United and Kaizer Chiefs takes place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane along with TS Galaxy’s game against Chippa United. Those fixtures will be followed by the last game of the weekend between Richards Bay and Sekhukhune United.
