Manie Libbok marries high school sweetheart

High school sweethearts Manie Libbok and Verna-Lee Arries have officially tied the knot!

The pair said their ‘I Dos’ at a beautiful ceremony in Mossel Bay over the weekend, The South African reports.

While much of the details from their big day are still under wraps, the ceremony was rumoured to take place at Seeplaas, a venue nestled in the Garden Route.

A few friends and family also hinted at the special day with several social media posts. 

Fellow Springboks Lukhanyo Am and Grant Williams shared that they were in town on their Instagram Stories. 

Libbok was noticeably missing from the DHL Stormers’ lineup for their match in Italy.

The pair got engaged in July last year. 

Libbok proposed at a picnic in Klein Roosboom Boutique Winery in Cape Town.
