JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula has aired his frustration with party members who have allegedly leaked confidential information from the organisation.
Mbalula shared the concerns during a media briefing at the ANC's headquarters in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
This after the party's top brass summoned Gauteng chairperson, Panyaza Lesufi, to Luthuli House regarding his remarks on the Government of National Unity (GNU).

It's understood that Mbalula believes that Lesufi's public statements contradict the stance of the national leadership.
The ANC secretary-general said that Lesufi was called to Luthuli House due to concerns that his comments on the unity government could harm the party's reputation.
He emphasised that it was common for senior party officials to engage party members when they strayed from the decisions made by the national executive committee.
Mbalula expressed disappointment that some individuals within the ANC chose to leak details of the top seven's engagement with Lesufi, aiming to create the impression of internal division.
"We condemn, in the strongest possible terms, disinformation efforts that rely on internal information peddling to achieve particular ends and project the ANC in a negative light."
Mbalula stated that the ANC's leadership continues to have confidence in Lesufi's capabilities within the government.
