JOHANNESBURG - The owner of a farm where the remains of two women were fed to pigs said he's not receiving the medical attention he needs while in custody.
Sixty-year-old Zachariah Olivier appeared alongside his two employees, Adriaan De Wet and William Musora, in the Polokwane Regional Court on Wednesday.

They have been charged with shooting and killing Mariah Makgato and Kudzai Ndlovu, then dumping their bodies in a pigsty on Olivier's farm, outside Polokwane.
Olivier and his two co-accused, De Wet and Musora, appeared before a packed public gallery at the Polokwane Regional Court.
The men were meant to apply for bail on the charges they face for the murders of Makgato and Ndlovu, who were shot dead, and their remains fed to pigs on Olivier’s farm in August.
However, their bail application could not proceed due to outstanding evidence the State is meant to supply to Olivier’s attorney, a matter currently under appeal in the Limpopo High Court.
Olivier’s attorney, Andries Rheeder, raised concerns about his client’s health while in custody.
"My client has certain medical conditions that are not being treated by Correctional Services," he said.
Magistrate Felleng Ntilane said she would raise the concerns with the head of the prison where the men are currently detained.
The case will resume on 6 November.
