JOHANNESBURG - City Power officials will be targeting eight defaulting customers on Thursday in the Florida area as part of its revenue collection drive.
The utility is targeting eight customers who collectively owe R29.4 million.
Among the defaulters is a known higher-learning institution, two businesses and three residential complexes.
Spokesperson Isaac Mangena: "We are starting to see successes with just over 100% of collection targets reached in the past two consecutive months and we have already collected over R2 billion in the past quarter alone, mostly are those who make arrangements to pay before we come to them."
