WATCH: YoungstaCPT joins Cape Town Tourism to unite Kaapstad with Berlin and New York
Three cities voted 'Best in the World' are joining forces for the first time in a series of 'travelogues'. Kaapstad's host is no other than the legendary YoungstaCPT.
Africa Melane speaks with Cape Town Tourism CEO Enver Duminy.
New York, Cape Town, and Berlin are coming together to create a more connected, compassionate, and sustainable world — one transformative travel experience at a time, with hosts from each country immersed in entertainment, narrative dining and social wellness experiences to depict how interconnected our world is.
Kaapstad's finest, YoungstaCPT, Berlin's DJ Annie O and restaurateur Melba Wilson from 'The Big Apple' bring us 'One Small World'.
The One Small World campaign continues highlighting Cape Town as a world-class tourist destination through 'travelogues'.
"They are creating a 'travelogue', taking us through three cities that almost looks like it's one city because the point of travel is to unite cities in a very divisive world."
- Enver Duminy, CEO - Cape Town Tourism
The campaign is to boost tourism in Cape Town and aid economic growth and job creation.
"We want the project to show that we [Cape Town] is just not perceived as a world-class city - we are a world class city... it's a livable city, and to show that we have a long way to go as a destination making sure it's accessible for everyone in our city which is part of our journey - to use tourism to drive economic growth and job creation."
- Enver Duminy, CEO - Cape Town Tourism
