CAPE TOWN - Two people found travelling with drugs worth almost R2 million are expected to appear in the Kuilsriver Magistrates Court on Monday.
The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) nabbed the duo on the N1, in the Kraaifontein area on Friday.
This after the Hawks' narcotics unit received a tip-off that the duo was transporting cannabis from Gauteng to Cape Town.

Hawks spokesperson, Zinzi Hani, said that the suspects' vehicle was intercepted on Brighton Road.
"The vehicle was stopped and searched by the members. During the search, members saw blocks wrapped in cello tape undeniably 215x1kg parcels of compressed cannabis, were found concealed in false compartments," said Hani.
