Diesel will decrease by R1.12 and R1.14 cents per litre.
Mineral Resources Department spokesperson, Robert Maake, said that the drop was due to the stronger rand against the US dollar and lower international oil prices.
"Illuminating paraffin at retail level will decrease by R1.48 cents per litre, whilst LP gas will increase by 23 cents per kilogram," said Maake.
The fuel price adjustment comes into effect on 2 October.
