Despite being an alliance partner of the ANC for over three decades, the SACP opposes collaboration with the Democratic Alliance (DA) and Freedom Front Plus.
Its secretary in Mpumalanga, Lucky Mbuyane said the organisation would never change its stance on the unity government.
"We made it clear from the beginning that any coalition that is going to include the DA and MK Party, we are not going to support it because the DA is representing the chief enemy of our revolution."
