Nasiphi Moya the 'best candidate' to be Tshwane mayor - ActionSA's Mashaba
ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba was speaking to 702 on Thursday afternoon following the removal of Cilliers Brink as the mayor of Tshwane.

JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba said that the next mayor of Tshwane was going to be Dr Nasiphi Moya.
Moya is currently the deputy mayor of Tshwane and an ActionSA councillor.
Mashaba said that she was the best candidate for the position.
He was was speaking to 702 on Thursday afternoon following the removal of Cilliers Brink as the mayor of Tshwane.

The motion of confidence against Brink was sponsored by the African National Congress (ANC) and supported by ActionSA, which recently exited the multi-party coalition in Tshwane.
Mashaba said that the appointment of Moya as mayor was one of the conditions his party put forward during negotiations.
"When the ANC approached me about a month ago, I did not waste any time, the only conditions were for us to work with them, I said: 'Let's look at all of our councillors'. The best candidate is Dr Nasiphi Moya, who's the current deputy mayor."
