His removal comes shortly after ActionSA withdrew from the coalition that’s been governing Tshwane since 2021, citing an abusive and toxic relationship with the Democratic Alliance (DA).
ActionSA president, Herman Mashaba, said that good things were coming to the capital city.
"It's a new chapter in the history of Tshwane, in the history of South Africa, in the history of the marginalised. Things are really going to happen, please give us time. In the next 14 days, we will ensure that we work as quickly as possible with the ANC to conclude an arrangement for this government."
