According to Msimanga, "today will go down in history as a day that an outright backstabber sunk a functional government, and in doing so traded stability for chaos."
"We have engaged with ActionSA, and we feel very much betrayed by them."

Msimanga finds it ironic that just a month ago, ActionSA celebrated the city's progress in a joint press statement, yet now claims that no services have ever been directed toward townships.
According to him, the DA views this as an attempt to deflect blame after ActionSA's disappointing election results.
"This has got nothing to do with the running of this government."

"The people of Tshwane deserve better than the instability caused by ego-driven individuals who betray both them and South Africa."
