Mashatile set to deliver keynote address at Heritage Day commemorative event

JOHANNESBURG - Deputy President Paul Mashatile is set to deliver the keynote address at the commemorative event in Ficksburg as the nation celebrates Heritage Day on Tuesday.
Heritage Day was first declared a public holiday in 1996 to honour the country's diverse culture and rich heritage.
In 2024, Heritage Month is being celebrated under the theme: "Celebrating the lives of our heroes and heroines who laid down their lives for our freedom".
